Dragonfly Days (Day 2 of 2)

Dragonflies are one of nature's most successful hunters with a 98% chance of catching their prey.  How do you compare?

Bring your favorite net, though we can provide some too.  Join us to catch dragonflies around Lake Lorraine, work to identify and track what we catch, and learn about the amazing dragonflies in our area.  Please bring a refillable water bottle and hat; sunscreen and insect repellent strongly recommended.  

Event is free, all ages welcome, and runs from 9:30am-2pm.  Lots of shady picnic space available for your picnic lunch.  Address: 1601 Speck Rd, Independence, MO 64057
